Introduction

This site is dedicated to the workshop on “Cartography & Narratives” that will take place in Zurich, at the Institute of Cartography and Geoinformation, ETH Zurich (CH) (june 11-13, 2012). This workshop is organized by the Commission on Art & Cartography of the International Cartography Association (ICA) in collaboration with ETH Zurich and Concordia University (Montreal).

This workshop aims to bring together artists, scholars and students from cartography, geography, the humanities and the arts interested in exploring further the relationships between maps and narratives.
